Joining OOFRAS

Join us and be the start of a network of universities intentionally engaging with the occupational needs of refugees and asylum seekers, and preparing students for associated practice issues.

We have much to learn from each other, and we're confident whatever we learn together will result in more robust pracitioners grounded in occupation, orientated to the occupational needs of people amidst diversity of people and context.

And the simple act of forming a visible network helps people see who is doing what, and perhaps, wonder what is possible.

Conversations we could have (comment directly below to add your ideas!)

  • What are we doing, what works, what next?
  • How could we collectively harvest experiences to enrich the profession?
  • What inter-disciplinary opportunities can OT create with projects and placements?
