OT Stories

Everyone has a story, for example:

• how you came to be here at OOFRAS
• how you'd like to see the OT profession respond to refugee issues
• what happened on your student placement
• relevant student projects
• what you uncovered in a literature review
• your volunteer experiences
• what refugees you have met
• how you deal with ignorance and dehumanising of refugees

Your stories are important, they can:

• inspire others to what is possible
• provide opportunities for people to learn vicariously
• accelerate networking
• demonstrate there is hope
• trigger compassion and action
• allow people to build on your experiences and ideas
